How do I feel today

Hi everyone! This is a very different class according to what I heard about other classes in high schools. I attended to Mr. Spencer class which is for students who are new in the country and they are just learning how to speak in English. His class is very similar to my class in Panama, because we both teach English, but the big difference is that these students are forced to learn English because they are in The United States of America. I feel really good here because I can help Mr. Spencer with his student and he makes me feel good on his classroom. An important fact that I realize today was the way he treats his students in order to engage them and make them feel confident in his class.  I hope this new High School experience will be awesome.  Regards; Mr. Linzar 

Hi everyone! Today I attended to Mrs. Phillips' class which is fourth grade. Every classroom in fourth grade  has its own decoration style and also every teacher has her own teaching style, which is really cool, because they teach the same topic but in their own style. I think this is really cool because it makes the teacher feel free to do what they want to in order to engage students  in their class. Students pay a lot of attention to the teacher, it is very important beacuse it makes them feel save when they have to talk to a teacher. I was also really wondered about how cool these kids use technology properly and the importance it has now a days. I would really have the chance to have these kind of technology in my classrom in order to improve my students' skills I want to thanks Mrs. phillips for her awesome job with her kids and of course for her big support when I was in her room. Boo... Everyone Well, today at Parson Hills Elementary School we celebrated Halloween. It's really interesting the way this school celebrate this party. They all wear different kind of customes, but teachers wear the same kind of customes according to their levels, they emphazied  in a story told in class previously. For example the teachers of second grade toldtheir kids a story about a fly a previous week of Halloween, this story is called FLY GUY, and that´s why they decided to create their own customes about this fly. Studenrts and teachers did a Fashion Shown in all over the school, when we can show off our customes. This activity was very, very cool because kids were having fun, but at the same time teachers were telling them the different responsabilities they must do while the fashion show is taking  place, like smiling, listening to others, be humble and kind, ec. Hi everyone! Today I began to observe and takes notes about classroom management and teaching strategies at Parson Hills Elemnetary School. I'm attending to Ms. Peckel´s classroom, which is second grade. This classroom is very cool, not only because it is well organized and decorated, I mean the way the teachers gives her classes is awesome and how well she gives her instructions and the students  follow them it's just wonderful. Another important fact I've observed is the use of thecnology in class. Every student has his/her own i pad, which is a very helpful tool now a day. The smart boards that are in every single classroom are big and they are really useful for us as teachers because they make our teaching way easier. Hello Last week I had the opportunity to visit the capital city of the state of Arkansas, which is Little Rock. This trip was very interesting for many reasons. First I went to a very big school in the middle of the city called Little Rock Central High School. This school retells a very interesting history about how black people fight for their rights years ago. It also known as one of the famous school in the entire state and nation because of the different events had happen on it. It was so impressive for me when I heard the history behind those walls and how bad some people in the past suffered. I also visited a foundation called HEIFER INTERNATIONAL  who helps poor people by giving them a cow, a goat, a hen or a pig, in order to make them grow as a business member of a community.  I attended to Bill Clinton Library, which was my favorite place of the entire trip because I could realize different things this president did for his nation, and the variety of activiti...

Public Library of Fayetteville WOW!!!!! Today I had the great opportunity to visit the Public Library of Fayetteville. It was a really good experience, because this library has different sections to be involve with and I didn't know where to go. I loved the way it is so organized and how  people there trying to give us a very nice welcome. I also watched a puppet show with a lot of kids in it, and one thing that really calls my attention about it was how parents are nice involved with their kids in order to make them feel so excited and happy and sharing time with them. My favorite part of the library was the KIDS AREA , because for me as teacher is so important to give my students the space they need to develop their own personality, instead of giving them commands and make them feel like robots. This library is AWESOME, and of course it is because the way they treated us and let us feel like we are in our own country and our own space. It was just wonderful. Regards; Bol...
